Caught in one of the smallest and most tightly regulated salmon fisheries in Alaska, king salmon is a wild delicacy. Rich and silky with a high Omega-3 fatty acid content, king salmon is hard to overcook and easy to enjoy! Making it even more special, king salmon steaks are sliced across the body of the fish, resulting in a unique cut of salmon that is sure to impress and open up a world of culinary opportunities. Any recipe that calls for salmon fillets can be adapted to use whole salmon steaks, or simply separated into two fillets. Enjoy it grilled or broiled with marinades or glazes, slow-roasted in the oven, or pan-seared in a hot skillet. For a show-stopping presentation, steaks can be rolled into a spiral prior to cooking. After removing the bones, wrap the belly flaps around to form a round spiral then tie with kitchen twine. Wait for the applause!

  • Orders placed by 11:59pm CT on Wednesdays will ship the following week. You can also elect to ship it with your next subscription box delivery to save on packaging and fuel use. All orders are packed in environmentally responsible insulation, recyclable packaging, and on dry ice.

  • What are one-time boxes?

    One-time boxes are 4-5 lb boxes of seafood that we make available to our members as a special perk of their membership. The seafood we offer as a one-time box may be from a fishery in a different part of the country (think Maine scallops!) or a special cut of seafood we already source (think halibut cheeks or king salmon collars). It may be a value-added seafood product we've created, like our Grill-Ready Salmon Burgers, or smoked sablefish. Lastly, it might be some of the species we include in our subscriptions in cases where we have a surplus of delicious premium quality seafood after our subscription boxes are packed.

  • Do members get a discount on one-time boxes?

    Yes! All of our members receive a 10% discount on one-time boxes. Simply log in to your member account before checkout to have your discount automatically applied.

  • Can I just order one type of seafood?

    We often offer a single species in our one-time boxes, in addition to mixed species boxes. We are not currently customizing any one-time boxes.

  • Can I add a personalized gift message for my recipient?

    Yes! During checkout you will be asked if you want to leave a gift message for your recipient. One week before delivery, we will send your gift recipient an email with delivery information and your gift message.

  • What are the denominations of your Digital Gift Cards?

    We offer digital gift cards for $50, $100, $150, or $250.
