  • Is your seafood traceable to the source?

    Our seafood is traceable to the port where it was landed and the processor where it was portioned. For each box you receive, you'll be able to see exactly where it came from, and receive stories about the people and places behind your seafood!

  • Can your seafood be eaten raw?

    Yes, please do! All of our seafood is sushi grade / sashimi grade and be enjoyed raw or rare. The on-boat processing and individual handling of all of our fish ensure the quality demanded by any raw preparation. More important—safety-wise, anyway—our fish are frozen at very low temperatures, which ensures they are safe to eat raw. The FDA’s stance is still that consuming undercooked meat, poultry, and seafood products may increase the risk of foodborne illness.

  • What more can you tell me about the portion sizes and how the seafood is packaged?

    Our fish fillets are between 6 and 12 ounces. To maximize our use of the wild resource, all members will receive a mix of center and tail pieces. Our fillets are vacuum-sealed, our shellfish is glazed and packed in bags. Learn more on our Packaging Disposal Guide.

  • Do I need to be home for deliveries?

    No, you do not need to be home for deliveries. Your box will be delivered with plenty of dry ice and sustainable insulation to keep it frozen solid until you're able to bring it inside.

  • Can I reschedule a delivery?

    Yes! If your order hasn't been processed, you can change your delivery window from within your member account. If your order has already been processed, please contact us and we can reschedule your delivery for you!

  • Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

    Yes, you can cancel at any time for any reason. Just contact us via email, phone or chat on our website and we'll help you out.

  • Do I get to choose the species in each box?

    We curate our boxes ahead of time with seasonality in mind, offering a variety of wild Alaska seafood throughout the course of a year. However, you are always welcome to contact us and we can swap your box with a box from another subscription. You can also skip a delivery at any time.

  • Can I change my subscription type later?

    Sure! Just contact us via email, phone or website chat and we’ll be happy to make an adjustment anytime.

  • Can I receive less than 4.5 lbs of seafood in my subscription box?

    Unfortunately, we do not currently offer smaller sizes of our subscription boxes!

  • Can I receive more than 4.5 lbs of seafood in my delivery?

    Yes! To receive an additional subscription box, you can contact us and request a second box. These are subscription boxes (with the same species you're already receiving in your subscription delivery) purchased in addition to your scheduled subscription box. We also have special one-time boxes of seafood available exclusively to our members. The species offered in our one-time boxes vary throughout the year based on availability and seasonality!

  • Why are halibut and king salmon only in the Premium Seafood Subscription?

    These species are some of our most premium fish species. In general, the seasons for these species are shorter than that of other species, and we receive less of these species overall. To ensure we have enough for all of our Premium members, these species are limited to the Premium Seafood Subscription exclusively.
