The Culinary Year in Review
Time moves so quickly! We move on to the next thing and we don’t often take the opportunity to enjoy or even register what we’ve just done. So, with so much glorious seafood, yummy recipes, and member-exclusive content to look forward to in 2023, I’d just like to reflect a bit on this past year.
We saw more than 50 new and original recipes, in addition to five more from our recipe contest winners. If 2022 was any indication of the talent and passion of our members, I can’t wait to see what this year’s recipe contest brings. Sharpen your knives and hone your culinary skills!
In addition to recipes, our newly refreshed culinary web pages offer updated, user-friendly cooking guides and videos to inspire and give you confidence in your own kitchens. From brining to boning and everything in between.
And we found our voice in our culinary storytelling — from the best tools and equipment to cook your seafood to the most outstanding sauces to dress your fish. Comforting cold-weather soups and stews, easy-prep sheet pan suppers, and one-pot meals are a click away. And we make it easy to honor the occasion with seafood on Game Day, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day.
In 2022, we introduced several products from trusted partners and new friends. There were Maine scallops, Gulf shrimp, king salmon steaks, and two new varieties of grill-ready salmon burgers. I won’t spoil the surprise, but we have some pretty awesome things planned for the coming year!
Here’s looking forward to more from us in 2023. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and delicious new year.
