Orange Ginger Salmon Bites

These salmon bites come together quickly, but are a fabulous appetizer for any day of the week! All Sitka Seafood Market fish is sushi-grade and safe to eat raw, we prefer these little bites medium-rare.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

  • 1/4 cup white wine

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 1/2 - 2 pounds salmon, cut into 2-inch cubes Available in Our Seafood Subscription Box

  • green tops of scallions

Directions

MARINATE

In a medium bowl, mix together everything but salmon and green onion. Submerge and marinate salmon pieces in sauce for 3-5 minutes.

MAKE GARNISH + SERVE

Cut the green tops of scallions into long thin slices (cut on a hard diagonal), and submerge in ice water for a few minutes.

Grill just until fish is opaque throughout. Skewer salmon bite on a decorative toothpick, and top with curly green onion.
