MORE PRODUCT DETAILS

Product Description

  • Wild-caught in the icy waters off Kodiak Island, our Alaska rockfish delivers premium flavor without the fuss. Topped with a bright lemon-dill infused butter — blended with hints of garlic, mustard, and onion — it brings bold, complex flavors to your plate in minutes. The zesty lemon and sharp dill elevate the naturally lean, mild rockfish, making it a versatile hero for easy weeknight meals. Each portion is 5-7 ounces, carefully frozen, vacuum-sealed, skinless and boneless.

Cooking Tips

  • Our seafood and gourmet butter combinations make dinner easy. To thaw, remove the fish and butter from the plastic and set it, butter-side up, on a paper towel-lined plate. Loosely cover with a paper towel and refrigerate overnight. For a faster option place the packet into a bowl of cold water and let sit, changing the water as needed, until thawed. To prevent the butter from melting, do not use warm or room temperature water.

Steam: Place the fish with the butter on top in a heat proof bowl. Set the bowl into a steamer basket, then cover and steam until the fish flakes around the edges, about 8 minutes.

Slow Roast: Place the fish with the butter on top in a baking dish and roast for 15 to 20 minutes at 275° until the fish is tender.

Pan-Sear: Set the butter aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fish, and cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Flip the fish, add the butter to the skillet and cook, spooning the butter over top until cooked through.

Sous Vide: Transfer the fish and butter to a sealable plastic bag. Sous vide at 130°F for 30 - 45 minutes.

Founded by Fishermen, Driven by Integrity

At Sitka Seafood Market, our roots run deep in Alaska's waters. Marsh, a second-generation fisherman, started this company on the simple principle of respect for the ocean. With a commitment to sustainable fishing practices, we bring you seafood as nature intended — wild, fresh, and responsibly harvested. Marsh knows the value of working with the tides, understanding the rhythms of the sea, and passing on this knowledge to future generations.
