Alaskan days are quickly growing shorter and time spent out on the fishing grounds is indeed colder. Our own Emma Bruhl went fishing for winter king salmon for the first time and reports back that insulated gloves are a bonus (along with a hot cup of coffee) when trolling for winter kings.
