In fact, the world record for the largest king salmon was caught there, weighing in at 97 pounds! While Kenai is famous for its wild salmon, Pacific Star Seafoods works with over 50 independent fishing vessels that deliver a variety of wild seafood to their shore-side processing plant — including Pacific cod which Sitka Seafood Market sources from their team.
