Previous to this role, she was the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) Seafood Technical Director, a research biologist at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and served as a fisheries research contractor with NOAA. She has a master’s degree in Fisheries Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.
