The F/V Whidby is owned and operated by Petersburg fisherman and resident Jon Randrup. Jon is from a local fishing family and continues the proud tradition of going the extra mile to care for his catch. Jon uses shrimp pots to catch wild spot shrimp that live in 30 to 300 feet of water in rocky habitats along the ocean floor. These shrimp are processed at sea directly after harvest and placed in an onboard freezer. We’re excited to source spot shrimp from Jon and fishermen like him that are dedicated to creating the absolute best-quality seafood for our members.
