How does the referral program work?

Members can share your unique referral link from your member account. When a friend uses it to start a subscription of $100 or more, they'll get an exclusive offer on their first box, and you'll receive a $35 credit once they place an order

What does my friend get?

Your friend gets $35 off their first box plus free salmon burgers for the first year of their subscription — an offer only available through your link. This is not compatible with other offers.

My friend doesn't see the salmon burgers at checkout. What should they do?

The salmon burgers are added to the first order after the fact. They will be able to see it in their member account within the next few days.

What do I get?

A $35 credit to your account for every friend who subscribes through your link. There's no limit to how many friends you can refer.

When will I receive my credit?

Your credit is placed on your account as soon as your friend places an order — it usually takes about an hour or two to post. From there, it will automatically apply to your next subscription box payment, unless you use it on a one-time purchase before that. The credit doesn't expire.

I'm a prepaid member — can I still refer friends?

Yes. Your credit is added to your account balance the same way as any other member's.

What happens if my friend cancels or gets a refund?

If your friend's order is refunded or canceled, the credit tied to that referral will be removed from your account.

Can I refer myself or someone in my household?

The referral offer is meant for friends discovering Sitka Seafood Market for the first time. Referrals using the same email as the referring member won't qualify for the reward.

Does this apply to one-time boxes?

The referral program is currently available for subscription orders only.

Can the details of this program change?

We may update or end the referral program at any time. Check back here for the most current terms.



Detailed Terms & Conditions

  • A “Member” is someone currently enrolled in a Sitka Seafood Market subscription. A “Referred Friend” is a new subscriber who was never previously enrolled in a Sitka Seafood Market subscription and who signs up using a Member's referral link.

  • Members can refer friends using the referral link in their member account. There is no limit to the number of friends a Member may refer.

  • The referral offer applies only to new subscription orders of $100 or more. One-time boxes are not eligible.

  • Referred Friends must use the unique link provided by the Member in order to receive the offer and for the Member to receive credit.

  • When a Referred Friend successfully places their first subscription order using the unique link provided by the Member, they will receive the referral offer — $35 off their first box plus free salmon burgers for the first year of their subscription

  • When a Referred Friend's order is placed, the referring Member receives a $35 credit to their account, which usually posts within about an hour or two and does not expire. The credit is automatically applied to the Member's regular subscription box orders.

  • Prepaid members are eligible to refer friends. 

  • If a Referred Friend's order is refunded or canceled, the associated Member credit will be removed.

  • Referrals using the same email address as the referring Member do not qualify for the reward.

  • Sitka Seafood Market reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program, and these terms, at any time.
