Emerald Isle Seafoods is the name of the Carpenter family's small-scale seafood business. The Carpenters harvest wild-caught, sustainable seafood from the icy waters of rugged Kodiak Island, Alaska, using low-impact jig gear that allows them to catch each fish individually on a hook and line. This method, while low volume, allows the fishermen to selectively harvest only the fish that they intend to catch.
