Small-boat fisherman Patrick Crenna owns and operates the F/V Ilona out of his home port of Sitka, Alaska. Both Pat and his wife, Coral, are second-generation fishermen. Coral’s parents own the F/V Coral Lee and Patrick’s parents owned the F/V Shearwater. The two of them started fishing together in 2010, when they purchased their first boat together: the F/V Pirate. Today, they are members of Sitka’s Seafood Producers Cooperative, the local fisherman co-op, and Patrick serves on SPC’s Board of Directors. What’s more, Patrick was one of the founding fishermen of Sitka Seafood Market nearly a decade ago. We’re proud to work with multigenerational fishing families like the Crennas, who are critical to Alaska’s future and its vital coastal communities.
