SITKA SALMON OFFICIAL GIVEAWAY RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Purchasing any Sitka Salmon product or service will not increase your chance of winning the Giveaway.
ELIGIBILITY: To enter the "Sitka Salmon Giveaway" (the “Giveaway”), you must be, at the time of entering, (a) be a citizen of the United States or a lawful permanent resident of the United States; and (b) be 21 years of age or older at the time of entering the Giveaway. This Giveaway is VOID where otherwise prohibited by law. Employees, officers and directors of Sitka Salmon, LLC (the “Sponsor”) and its respective parents, subsidiaries, licensees, agencies and affiliates and members of the immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and their spouses and in-laws) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER:
Giveaway starts October 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. CST and ends January 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CDT (the "Giveaway Period"). A day is 12:00 a.m. CST to 11:59 p.m. CST, except for the first day of the promotion, which is 8:00 a.m. CST to 11:59 p.m. CST.
To enter the Giveaway, you must use one of the following three (2) entry methods. Limit one (1) Entry per person/email/household, regardless of entry method. Each individual will be counted once for one entry, regardless of how many forms they submit or Mail Entries. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person who submits multiple entries. Automated or bulk entries or entries submitted by third parties will be disqualified.
- Fill Out Sitka Salmon Market Study and Market Study Giveaway Form that Follows the Study. During the Giveaway Period, fill out the Sitka Salmon Market Study provided to you by Sitka Salmon, LLC. At the end of the survey, click on the link for the Market Study Giveaway Entry Form. You will be asked to provide basic contact information, including your name, street address, phone number, and email address. (NOTE: You must complete all required fields of the entry form with information that is valid on the date of the drawing to be eligible). You must complete the Sitka Salmon Market Study and the Market Study Giveaway Form before the end of the Giveaway Period in order to qualify. Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not qualify for an entry.
- Alternative Entry Method. To participate without filling out the Sitka Salmon Market Study or Market Study Giveaway Form, mail a postcard to Sitka Salmon, LLC ATTN: Sitka Giveaway, 3241 Garver Green, Suite 160, Madison, WI 53704. This method of entry will be referred to as the “Mail Entry” method for the remainder of this document. Each Mail Entry submitted is equal to one (1) entry into the Giveaway. The Mail Entry must include entrant’s first and last name, home address, city, state, zip code, daytime phone number and date of birth (as two digits for month, two digits for day and four digits for year). No Mail Entry entries may be postmarked or include an address located in New York or Florida. In the event of an identity dispute of a participant participating via the Mail Entry, the Mail Entry will be considered made by the registered owner of the phone number used to enter. All Mail Entry Method postcards must be postmarked by the last day of the Giveaway Period.
WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION:
From all entries received during the Giveaway Period, Sponsor will randomly select two winners to receive the Prizes (as described below) on or around the first week of February 2026. The odds of winning depends on the number of entries received.
The Sponsor's decisions are based on its sole discretion and interpretation of these official rules, and are final and binding in all respects. The selected winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone as provided by the entrant on the entry form.
If a randomly selected winner fails to respond to Sponsor’s prize notification or the winner is unable to use or is otherwise ineligible to receive a Prize, that winner will be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.
PRIZES:
Two (2) winners will be randomly selected from all entries. One (1) eligible entrant will win a cruise travel package to Sitka, Alaska. One (1) eligible entrant will win a free 12-month Premium Seafood Subscription, or Premium Salmon Subscription.
The travel package prize consists of a 6-7 day cruise to Alaska for two (2) adults from Seattle, WA, plus round trip airfare from a major city airport in the United States to Seattle, WA, and double occupancy hotel lodging for 1 night. Travel will happen between June - September 2026. Specific dates will be chosen by Sponsor. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $3,000 USD. ARV of the prize may vary depending on point of departure, travel dates, accommodations, and fare/rate fluctuations. Any difference in value will not be awarded.
The 12-month Sitka Subscription prize consists of a fully paid Premium Seafood Subscription or Premium Salmon Subscription for a period of twelve (12) months. The ARV of the subscription package is $1,908.
The prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash by the winner; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion and/or reduce the total number of days of the trip based on flight and accommodation availability and/or restrictions. No refunds, compensation or alternative dates will be offered to the winner in the event of cancellation of a confirmed reservation by the winner, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Travel restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. All meals, ground transportation, and incidentals not described herein and incurred by winner and his/her guest will be the sole responsibility of the winner and/or his/her guest. Winner and guest must have a valid drivers license, comply with all airline, cruise line, rental car, and hotel check-in rules and requirements, including, but not limited to, the presentation of government-issued identification and a major credit card. Air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken together and cannot be taken separately.
Winner's and his/her guest travel must be made through Sponsor's agent, on a carrier of Sponsor's choice. If winner lives within a 100-mile radius of Seattle, WA, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof. Potential winner and his/her guest must be able to travel on dates to be determined by Sponsor. The exact dates of travel to be determined at Sponsor's sole discretion. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed, and no refunds or compensation will be made in the event of cancellation or delay of any flight or any portion of it. Sponsor (and the Giveaway Entities) will not replace any lost or stolen flight tickets. Airline carrier's regulations and conditions apply as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. Flights may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Sponsor will in its sole discretion determine which airport is closest to the winner's home. Winner and guests are also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance.
Winner and his/her guest must possess valid travel documents, including valid government identification. For destinations that require a Visa and/or Passport for travel, winner and his/her guest must be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six (6) months after the completion of travel, along with any visa requirements. It is recommended that winner and his/her guest also take out the necessary travel insurance coverage prior to and during travel plans in case any emergencies occur. Any and all fees and costs and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and expenses related to acceptance and use of the Prize not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to, air travel fees, automobile insurance, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, security fees, gratuities, food, excursions and/or other expenses, are solely the responsibility of the Prize winner. All Prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor is required by law to report the Prize where required.
To the extent permitted by law, guest must execute a Liability and Publicity Release prior to issuance of a confirmed accommodation booking. In the event winner and/or guest engages in behavior which (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious, threatening or illegal, or which is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or which in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor, or the Giveaway Entities, or any third party that provides products or services in connection with the Giveaway or the Prize, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Giveaway and delivery of the Prize early, and send winner and/or guest home, and Sponsor (and the Giveaway Entities) shall have no further obligations whatsoever (including any obligation to pay compensation) to the winner and/or guest in respect to the Prize and any future accommodation or reservations related to the Prize will be cancelled.
In the event winner and/or guest engages in behavior during their redemption of Giveaway Entities that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects winner and/or guests to arrest or detention, Sponsor and the Giveaway Entities shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by winner or guests as a result of such conduct. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPONSOR AND THE GIVEAWAY ENTITIES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LEGAL IMPLICATIONS OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY TRAVEL RELATED TO THE PRIZE OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF WINNER'S OR GUEST'S ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF THE PRIZE.
CONDITIONS: Winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, IRS W-9 form, and Release of Liability/Publicity within five (5) days of notification. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prizes or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact potential winner or potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prizes will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.
Entrants of the Giveaway acknowledge and understand that the Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any travel agent or third party that provides products or services to Sponsor.
All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this Giveaway will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Winning entries and Prizes are not transferable; no prize substitutions are allowed except by the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute prizes with prizes of equal or greater value. The Prizes or any portion of the Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. The Sponsor, its affiliates and agencies are responsible for Prize delivery only. SPONSOR DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRIZEs, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRIZEs.
WAIVER: Sponsor and Giveaway Entities are not responsible for any technical, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other error of any kind relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in the administration of the Giveaway, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or delivery of the Prizes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant or entry that is in violation of the Official Rules or to cancel, suspend or modify the Giveaway, and disqualify any implicated entrant(s), (and their entries) if any fraud, actions by entrants, technical or other error or problem of any kind, or any other occurrence corrupts or affects the administration, integrity, security, or proper play of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award the Prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the event or action warranting such cancellation or to take any other action it deems equitable to fairly award any prize.
NO LIABILITY: By entering, entrants and the winners agree to comply with all Official Rules as stated and agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Giveaway Entities, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by the winner, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Giveaway as well as any other claims, damages or liability resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Giveaway-related activity or participation in this Giveaway.
PUBLICITY GRANT: Except where prohibited by law, winner grants to Sponsor and the Giveaway Entities, Sponsor's parent company and any subsidiary thereof, and Sponsor's affiliates, retailers, distributors, advertising and Giveaway agencies, suppliers, and those acting pursuant to its authority, the right and permission to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winner's name, portrait, picture, city/town of residence, voice, likeness, opinions and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes (including the announcement of his or her name on television or radio broadcast) without additional consideration, compensation, permission, or notification.
GOVERNING LAW: ARBITRATION: The Giveaway is governed by the laws of the state of Illinois. Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Giveaway, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at a AAA regional office in Chicago, Illinois; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages including attorney’s fees or any other damages, other than for entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Giveaway), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
