Our previous site was something we built ourselves in-house years ago. It carried us far, but over time, it started to limit what we could do for you.
Simple things became harder than they should be. Fixing issues took more time than building improvements. And as technology continues to evolve, we found ourselves spending more energy maintaining the past than creating the future.
This new platform gives us the flexibility to keep improving your experience — more quickly, more reliably, and with fewer disruptions along the way.
In short: it lets us spend less time fixing… and more time building what comes next for you.
You don't have to do anything! But, we invite you to login to your new account and explore the new features.
To log in, enter the email address associated with your account on the login screen, and click Continue. You will be emailed a security code that you will then enter on the next screen. There is no longer a need to create and remember passwords to access your account.
To improve account security, the new website uses a secure login code sent to your email instead of a traditional password.
When you enter your email address on the login page, we’ll send you a one-time code to verify your account and log you in.
No — your existing subscription, delivery schedule, and preferences remain the same.
You can still manage your seafood deliveries just like before, including editing your box or skipping a delivery.
All of our recipes and cooking resources are still available on the new website. You can find them here.
Prepaid Credits are a way to load your account with money ahead of time, and in return, you get a better value on your subscription products. Additionally, you can use your available credits for add-ons and sale boxes if you wish.
Previously, a prepaid subscription was for X number of subscription boxes and you couldn’t use those funds for anything else. Now, your prepaid amount will still apply to your subscription deliveries, but unlike before, you can use those prepaid funds to purchase supplemental non-subscription products if you wish.
With this new functionality, though, there is no change to the contents of your subscription box or the delivery frequency.
Your remaining prepaid delivery credits have been converted into a dollar value system credit (which includes the value of your prepay discount!) that will be used for your subscription going forward or for anything else you wish to purchase supplementally. Your existing subscription type will remain in place with no action needed by you.
Subscriptions will roll along at your desired frequency until we receive a request from you to make a change. You can cancel at any time.
Under the name of your subscription, you’ll see another header that says “Box Contents”. The item under that will state your next species in its title.
Click the Edit Contents link on your subscription.
With our new website, you now have more flexibility than ever to build your box exactly how you want it. Instead of swapping pre-set species at a fixed price, you’re selecting individual portions of your favorite seafood.
Because of this, your total now reflects the specific pieces you choose — so it may be slightly different from your usual subscription price. This change gives you more control over your box.
To attach extra products to be shipped with your next subscription box, please click the “View Your Next Order” button on the right-hand side menu. On the order page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Add” button for any products you’d like to purchase in addition to your subscription box.
You can now cancel your subscription in your member account. Or you can contact our Member Services Associates at 309-342-3474 or support@sitkaseafoodmarket.com. Please know that if the box contents or frequency of delivery is an issue, we have multiple ways to customize your experience!
