Wild Alaska sockeye are famous for their striking red flesh and robust flavor, making any dish pop. Sockeye get their deep red color from filter feeding on krill for most of their lives. Since they filter feed and don’t bite fishing lures they are harvested sustainably using low-impact gillnets. Portions are 5-7 ounces, carefully frozen, and vacuum-sealed with skin on and pin bones in.

Our Coho and Sockeye salmon are harvested by independent small-boat fishermen in Alaska using low-impact, sustainable methods — including hook-and-line or gillnet gear, depending on the species and region.
